What token launch marketing costs in 2026: public prices compiled

A data page, not a quote. Every figure below is a price a third party published, with the source and the date it was checked. Prices change; always confirm with the seller.

Short answer

Published prices checked on 6 October 2026: sponsored articles on crypto news sites from $1,199 to $6,500, press releases from $1,399 on a newswire to $15,000 with socials, directory upgrades from $49 a month, and clipping typically at $1 to $5 per 1,000 views. Most agencies publish no fee at all.

This page compiles prices that sellers or marketplaces published themselves. It does not estimate or average anything. Each row names the source and the date it was checked. Currencies are as published, prices usually exclude VAT, and sellers can change them at any time.

Marketplace listings are prices offered through that marketplace and can differ from buying directly from the outlet. Sponsored content is labelled as such by reputable outlets; CryptoSlate, for example, states that it labels sponsored content as "sponsored" or "ad" in line with FTC rules (media kit).

Newswires

WirePackagesNoteSource
ChainwireLite $1,399 (8 outlets), Standard $2,499 (20 outlets), Premium $6,499, Gold $10,799Links in releases are nofollow by written policy, per Adbench, so a release carries no SEO link valueAdbench, compiled 3 Oct 2026

A wire is useful for a dated announcement. It is not earned coverage, and an agency quote for "PR distribution" may include a wire release with a margin on top. Ask which wire and at what source price.

Per-post creator prices vary widely and few are published. For the trade-offs between paying per post and paying per outcome, see creator campaigns vs KOL packages. For how clipping offers differ, see crypto clipping agencies and marketplaces compared.

Agency fees: what is public

Most agencies do not publish a price. Adbench opened the websites of 38 crypto marketing agencies on 3 October 2026; 36 were reachable and 13 published a figure for their own services. The table lists a few published floors and ranges from that compilation, quoted from the agencies' own pages as Adbench recorded them.

Source: Adbench, "Web3 marketing agencies 2026", compiled 3 October 2026. Clutch minimum project sizes entered by the agencies in that set ranged from $1,000 to $50,000. These are list figures, not quotes for your project, and agencies change them.

How to read these numbers

  • Separate the fee from the working budget. Creator, clipper and media costs usually sit on top of an agency fee. Ask for both, in writing, and for the media and creator lines at source price.
  • Price the outcome, not the item. A $2,499 article and a $1,399 wire release buy very different things. Decide what each line should produce (sign-ups, holders, coverage, citations) and how you will measure it.
  • Paid media has limits around token sales. Token sales are banned as ad content on Meta, X, TikTok and Reddit (Adbench, 2 October 2026), so launch budgets lean on creators, clips, PR and owned channels.
  • Plan for after the listing. Memento Research found 84.7% of 118 tracked 2025 token launches below their TGE opening valuation as of 20 December 2025 (Memento Research). Keep budget for the weeks after launch; see the post-listing marketing guide.

Method and sources

Prices were collected from the sellers' own pages or from marketplace listings and checked on 6 October 2026, except where a row names a different compilation date. We did not contact sellers for quotes and did not include prices we could not see on a public page. Corrections with a source are welcome at hello@hoolua.com. This page will be updated quarterly.
